WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE UPLAND DEVELOPEMENT

I have worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. Starting as a laborer for a residential home builder during my high school years, working on several housing developments in the Naperville area. A few years later and lots of hard work I was managing multi million dollar multi-tier high rise constriction projects for some of the largest construction firms in the Chicago land area. You could say I have seen much of what this industry has to offer: from complex commercial, and industrial designs that lean on the cutting edge, to high end residential projects. As a superintendent I was deeply involved in the quality and pace of the work. Being a student of construction my entire life I was always building with my hands whenever I was not at work. Renovating my own home or tackling projects for friends and family. I made the choice to leave the corporate construction world in August of 2020 to start Upland Development full time. I hope to bring the quality service, and professionalism the commercial construction industry is known for the residential market.

Our open book invoicing makes it easy for homeowners to see exactly were their money is going. Upland Development does not price project by the square-foot like other contractors. Each project is treated as individual. After all it is your space and it should reflect your needs when it is complete.
